Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a client in the Netherlands to hire a Platform Engineer (P4). This mid-senior role focuses on building reliable, scalable cloud environments that power data science and ML workflows, blending hands-on cloud work with a strong consulting mindset.

You will design, automate, and evolve infrastructure across AWS and Azure, lead IaC with Terraform/Ansible, manage Kubernetes and Linux, and collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional cloud/platform engineering experience.
• Led at least one significant infrastructure project from design to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS-centric cloud environments.
• Support data science and ML workflows with reliable platform infra.
• Automate deployment using CI/CD tools.
• Define Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage Kubernetes-based environments and Linux systems.
• Develop automation using Python and Bash.
• Lead or contribute to technical solutions from design to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Advise on cloud architecture and long-term platform strategy.
• Maintain focus on a single client engagement when possible.
• Contribute to documentation and internal standards.
