Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Senior Software Engineers for Amsterdam and the Netherlands to design, build, and scale AI infrastructure powering products used by millions. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract with 20–40 hours per week.

You will tackle architectural challenges, write clean code, and collaborate with top engineers. You should have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Python/TypeScript/Go/Java, and strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, etc.).
• Experience building and deploying backend services, APIs, or data‑intensive applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade software systems for AI training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
• Write clean, well‑tested, and performant code in Python, TypeScript, or other modern languages.
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that scale reliably.
• Architect solutions balancing speed of delivery with long‑term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and product managers.
