Job summary

Adyen is seeking a seasoned Sanctions & Screening professional to validate models, oversee controls, and guide a scalable framework. You will partner across Compliance, Data, and Engineering to ensure robust data governance and compliant product launches.

You bring at least 5 years of experience, strong regulatory literacy, and the ability to translate complex guidance into actionable processes and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in sanctions and/or screening frameworks (or equivalent).
• Strong regulatory literacy with ability to parse complex guidance papers.
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
• Strong communication with both technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Inform, advise, and independently challenge the business on sanctions and screening matters.
• Draft and review procedures, guidelines, and technical model documentation.
• Support product launches with risk assessments and screening controls.
• Create validation tools and perform data analyses to improve the framework.
• Collaborate with Compliance Data and Engineering for data governance.
• Lead 2nd Line escalation for high‑complexity investigations and relationships with regulators.
• Represent the AML Compliance team across workstreams to ensure compliant growth.
