Job summary

Adyen in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior CDD Risk Analyst with deep compliance and regulatory expertise to translate complex requirements into scalable processes. You will work cross-functionally with QA, Compliance, and Commercial teams to shape risk operations.

You will manage end-to-end reviews for high-risk enterprise customers, ensure First-Time-Right outcomes, and lead calibration sessions to align with evolving AML/CFT standards across EU jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience 6+ years in CDD, KYC, or EDD operations or equivalent Second Line Risk/Compliance role.
• Deep mastery of complex risk scenarios beyond standard checklists, including layered structures and multi-jurisdiction AML/CFT standards.
• Up-to-date knowledge of EU AML regulation changes and ongoing KYC implementation.
• Analytical mindset with ability to leverage data to identify trends and drive automated risk solutions.
• Autonomous with strong written and verbal communication, collaborates across teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Case Management: Manage periodic reviews for high-risk enterprise customers from initial assessment through remediation.
• Uphold Quality & Consistency: Maintain First-Time-Right accuracy and perform quality checks.
• Peer Mentorship: Coach peers and upskill team quality on risk standards.
• Policy Alignment & Operational Excellence: Lead calibration sessions translating regulatory requirements into daily workflows.
• Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration: Liaise between Commercial teams and customers to balance risk and growth.
• Volume & SLA Management: Navigate high volumes and strict deadlines while balancing priorities.
• AMLR & Product Partnership: Collaborate to ensure scalable execution of AMLR regulations.
