Nedap in Groenlo is hiring a Ruby Developer to strengthen the Tech/Infra team within Healthcare. You will work on the Ruby on Rails backend and CI/CD, focusing on scalable, reliable software and improving developer experience. Qualifications

• 5+ years in back-end or full-stack software development.
• 3+ years Ruby and Ruby on Rails expertise.
• DevOps mindset and infrastructure experience.
• Docker and CI/CD tooling experience.
• Nomad experience is a plus.
• Observability: monitoring, logging and performance optimization.
• Agile development with TDD/BDD and continuous delivery.
• Clear vision on building scalable, maintainable systems.
• Coaching and knowledge sharing abilities.
• Excellent English; Dutch a plus.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refactor and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with focus on scalability and performance.
• Improve the technical architecture and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and work on containerization and orchestration.
• Monitor applications and improve logging, metrics and tracing.
• Increase the stability, security and reliability of our applications.
• Promote test automation, code quality and engineering best practices.
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and coach colleagues in Ruby and DevOps.
• Continuously improve the developer experience and deployment processes.
