Nedap in Groenlo is seeking a Ruby Developer to join the Tech/Infra team within Nedap Healthcare. You’ll work on the technical backbone of logistics solutions, enhancing Ruby on Rails architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure while ensuring scalable, reliable software for healthcare clients.

The role blends software development with DevOps, focusing on performance, reliability, and a superior developer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development in backend or full-stack roles.
• 3+ years with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD tooling.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring and logging.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refactor and maintain Rails applications with focus on scalability and performance.
• Improve architecture and contribute to technical decisions.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and work on containerization/orchestration.
• Monitor applications, improve logging, metrics and tracing.
• Promote code quality, test automation and engineering best practices.
• Coach colleagues in Ruby and DevOps; share knowledge
• Continuously improve developer experience and deployment processes.
