Job summary

About the role

Are you an experienced proposal and bid professional who can bring people, expertise and customer requirements together in compelling proposals?

We are looking for a Senior Proposal and Bid Manager to join our Customer Relations and Business Development team in Market Area BeNeLux.

You will lead and coordinate complex and strategically important proposals for external customers. Working closely with Key Account Managers, technical experts, sales colleagues, legal specialists and other stakeholders, you will help translate our expertise into clear, persuasive and customer-focused proposals.

This role offers the opportunity to build on the experience and established working practices within our team. You will contribute your own expertise, support continuity and knowledge sharing, and help us further develop our proposal capability in response to changing customer needs, market developments and increasingly complex tenders.

Your responsibilities

As our Senior Proposal and Bid Manager, you will:

• Lead complex proposals and bids from initial qualification and planning through to final submission, establishing a clear process, responsibilities and timeline.
• Develop compelling proposal strategies by analyzing customer requirements, evaluation criteria, risks and commercial opportunities, and translating these into clear and differentiated responses.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary bid teams, bringing together commercial, technical, legal and operational expertise and ensuring that contributions form one consistent and customer-focused proposal.
• Safeguard proposal quality and compliance by reviewing content, facilitating structured review sessions and ensuring that submissions meet customer requirements, internal policies and applicable regulations.
• Support the continued development of our proposal capability by sharing knowledge, applying proven practices and contributing to templates, reusable content, digital tools and effective ways of working.
• Contribute to commercial insight and learning by monitoring tender opportunities, sharing relevant market developments and evaluating bid outcomes and lessons learned.
