Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a project manager.
• 7+ years in (IT) change management or transformation with portfolio management knowledge.
• Higher education degree (Bachelor's/Master's).
• Fluent in English and Dutch (C1).
• Agile methodologies knowledge/certifications (SAFe, PSMI).
• Hands-on, strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Project management: oversee a portfolio of projects from planning to delivery and closure.
• Project planning & execution: create detailed plans, schedules, budgets with milestones.
• Risk & issue management: identify and mitigate risks to meet quality standards.
• Progress monitoring & reporting: track progress and adjust as needed.
• Stakeholder communication: facilitate meetings and provide portfolio updates.
• Portfolio optimization: work with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources.

As an experienced project manager, you will oversee the implementation and optimization of IT Portfolio Management processes and the associated tools for organizations seeking to enhance their business agility. Key Responsibilities:

• Project management: Manage and oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery and closure.

• Project planning & execution: Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, establishing clear milestones and timelines for successful project delivery.

• Risk & issue management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, making necessary adjustments to mitigate issues and ensure deliverables meet business quality standards.

• Progress monitoring & reporting: Monitor progress across multiple projects within the portfolio, making data-driven adjustments as required.

• Stakeholder communication: Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication across teams and stakeholders. Present portfolio-level updates and maintain alignment with broader objectives.

• Portfolio optimization: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to evaluate project portfolio health, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively across projects to maximize strategic impact.

• Continuous learning: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, enhancing both your skills and the team's capabilities.

• Coaching: Demonstrate the ability to coach colleagues and improve team performance.

You’re a perfect fit if you:

• Have 7+ years experience as a project manager.

• Have 7+ years of experience in (IT) change management or transformation as well as knowledge of and experience with portfolio management, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects.

• Have a higher education degree (Bachelor's/Master's).

• Are fluent in English and Dutch (minimum C1 level).

• Have agile methodologies and frameworks knowledge, experience and/or certifications (SAFe, PSMI).

• Are a hands‑on person.

• Have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and teams at all levels.

• Have excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Have a passion for continuous learning.

• Nice to have: PMP, Prince 2, LPM/LPO, Lean Sigma Black Belt.
