Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer based in the Netherlands to shape a fast-moving AI-powered developer platform. You will own complex problems across CLI, desktop tooling, and spend consoles, in a remote-first, international environment.

You’ll conduct independent user research, contribute to strategy, and prototype directly in code where appropriate, partnering with engineers and other designers to deliver high-impact experiences.

Qualifications

• Senior-level product design experience with a portfolio focused on developer tools or AI/LLM products.
• Ability to own end-to-end user research and influence product direction.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product problems across CLI, desktop apps, and developer tooling.
• Lead independent user research from planning studies to translating insights into product direction.
• Prototype in code using AI-assisted development workflows to validate ideas.
• Contribute a clear point of view to product strategy with evidence from usage and research.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to balance UX, architecture, and business goals.
• Participate in cross-team design reviews to maintain consistency and raise quality.
• Communicate design decisions clearly through documentation in a distributed team.
