Job summary

Workwize is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer (Laravel) to guide architectural decisions, champion AI tooling, and mentor a growing engineering team. This remote NL/UK-based role focuses on delivering impactful features for a global SaaS platform that manages IT equipment for distributed workforces.

You will collaborate with PMs and EMs, shape technical strategy, and push for solutions that scale across 100+ countries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software at product companies.
• Strong technical and architecture foundations with system-level thinking.
• Experience using AI and agents to accelerate engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature work end-to-end: scope with PM, architectural calls, and live evaluation.
• Champion AI tooling and raise team capabilities to match it.
• Coach engineers, including non-juniors, through pairing and feedback.
• Drive process improvements and push for better ways of working.
• Partner with Engineering Manager and Product Manager, challenging roadmaps when needed.
• Align what you ship with company goals and measurable outcomes.
