Loyens & Loeff N.V in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Pricing Specialist to shape the firm-wide pricing strategy and governance. You will advise Partners and senior lawyers on pricing, profitability and client value across practices and jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably master’s, in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Pricing experience in professional services, preferably legal sector.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills, advanced Excel; Power BI as asset.
• Ability to advise Partners and senior stakeholders with credibility and impact.
• Strong commercial mindset; translate financial analysis into actionable pricing advice.
• Strong stakeholder management across Finance, BD, and legal teams.
• Proactive, solution-driven mindset; improve pricing processes, models, and tools.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Dutch or French is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing frameworks, guidelines, and governance.
• Advise Partners and senior lawyers on pricing strategy, matter pricing, and AFAs.
• Support pitches, RFPs, and client negotiations with tailored pricing proposals.
• Drive adoption of value-based pricing and AFAs.
• Model pricing scenarios to balance competitiveness and profitability.
• Develop pricing reports, dashboards and financial models for data-driven decisions.
• Stay updated on market pricing developments and client expectations.
• Coach and train senior stakeholders on pricing best practices.
