Bitvavo’s Amsterdam team seeks self-driven engineers to help scale our trading platform. You will work across teams to build robust, secure and scalable systems, emphasizing latency, availability and throughput.

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Kotlin, Go).
• Solid fundamentals in distributed systems, systems engineering and networking.
• Experience with IaC and automation; Terraform usage for reproducible environments.
• Kubernetes proficiency in a cloud-first environment.
• Strong communication with stakeholders to derive requirements and drive decisions.
• Strong ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Empower teams to build scalable systems with latency/availability/throughput requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to understand pain points and craft solutions.
• Enable teams to own and observe their applications.
• Leverage IaC and automation to build reproducible systems across environments.
