Tiqets is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure Platform Team in Amsterdam. You’ll scale apps, website and API with reliable, secure systems and empower developers with self-serve tooling. This is a hybrid role, 2–3 days at our Amsterdam HQ.

Requirements include 5+ years building production systems at scale, deep AWS and Kubernetes, and Terraform for IaC. Bonus: GitOps with Argo CD and GitLab CI, plus Datadog/Sentry observability and PagerDuty incident workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production systems at scale.
• Deep experience with AWS cloud and networking (VPCs, DNS, routing).
• Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for reusable modules.
• GitOps workflows with Argo CD and CI/CD (GitLab).
• Observability with Datadog and Sentry.
• Incident management with PagerDuty and triage of incidents.
• Experience building shared infrastructure for engineering teams.
• Living in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production systems are available, scalable, and performant.
• Drive security, resilience, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide observability and debugging visibility across teams.
• Improve developer experience with self-serve tooling.
