Job summary

Fiducial is seeking a senior PCB design engineer to design multi-layer PCBs for UAV compute platforms, from schematic to flight-ready hardware, on-site at Delft.

You will collaborate with embedded software, systems and hardware engineers to push hardware bring-up, define routing, power and EMI strategies, and own the hardware from prototype to production.

The role offers autonomy, a tight-knit team, and a path to tackle cutting-edge defense-related projects at the Aerospace Innovation Hub.

Qualifications

• Senior PCB design demonstrated by a strong portfolio.
• Multi-layer stack-up and impedance control expertise.
• High-speed routing for PCIe/USB/MIPI interfaces.
• DC power filtering and EMI for battery-powered systems.
• Hands-on PCB bring-up: debugging and firmware flashing.
• Proficiency in PCB tools and circuit simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-layer PCBs from schematic to layout and release.
• Route high-speed buses with impedance control and length matching.
• Design DC power systems for UAV compute and sensors.
• Bring up new boards: debugging schematics and firmware flashing.
• Set technical direction for PCB design across hardware team.
• Own hardware from prototype to field-ready product.
