Job summary

Science [&] Technology Corporation in Delft seeks an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to own the hardware development lifecycle, from concept through production. You will lead the PCB design team, translate system requirements into robust hardware designs, and perform SI/PI/thermal analyses to ensure reliability in demanding space and defence environments.

Qualifications

• Education: a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: minimum 10 years in dedicated electronics design with high-speed digital
• EDA tools: expert CAD proficiency (Altium/Cadence/Siemens)
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, SpaceFibre)
• Familiarity with FPGA-based hardware architectures and embedded platforms
• Ability to analyze and debug high-speed hardware issues using lab equipment
• Must be eligible for Dutch/NATO/EU security clearances; fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Lead the PCB design team and establish efficient engineering processes.
• Translate system requirements into robust hardware designs.
• Perform board-level SI analysis and simulations to optimize interfaces.
• Conduct PI analysis and measurements for stable power distribution.
• Perform thermal analysis and collaborate with Mechanical Engineers on cooling.
• Support environmental qualification and test campaigns (vibration, TVAC, EMC).
• Collaborate with procurement and external PCB manufacturers for DFM/DFA and sourcing.
• Define component selection strategies for radiation tolerance and long-term availability.
