Job summary

Føn Energy Services is expanding its offshore wind team and is seeking a Project Engineer to support preparation, execution, and completion of offshore wind projects from our IJmuiden office. You will connect onshore project management with offshore execution, coordinating with managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients to deliver within time, budget and quality.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 4–10 years of offshore wind/marine experience, proven process discipline, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering field (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine, Offshore or Subsea).
• 4–10 years of relevant offshore wind/maritime engineering experience.
• Experience in structured engineering processes and delivering engineering deliverables.
• Willingness to obtain VCA VOL certificate; offshore project execution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation, execution and completion of offshore wind projects.
• Coordinate with project management onshore, site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Create and review method statements, procedures and calculations.
• Maintain document control and ensure compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
