Job summary

Ballast Nedam Wind & Marine is seeking a Junior Project Engineer Wind to join our Utrecht head office. You will support the wind tender team by answering key questions on installation, duration, and costs, working with seasoned engineers and estimators to craft buildable and competitive offers.

After award, you will move to a wind farm project abroad, supporting engineering during execution and ensuring the planned methods, schedules and costs come to life.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree (Mechanical, Civil, Maritime or Offshore Engineering).
• 0–3 years of experience; internship or graduation project in offshore wind is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with a feel for planning and numbers.
• Willingness to work abroad for longer periods once a tender is won.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical support of the wind tender team and help answer questions on installation, duration and cost.
• Collaborate with experienced project engineers, method engineers and estimators to create competitive wind offers.
• Support the project team with engineering during execution after award, translating methods and planning to on-site reality.
• Move to the wind farm project abroad after award and support engineering during execution.
