Innatera is a rapidly growing Dutch semiconductor company developing neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge. We are seeking a Senior NPU SDK Software Engineer to own the Python API for our chip, customize PyTorch, and advance the end-to-end compiler and toolchain for our SDK.

You will drive code quality, review engineering practices, and collaborate with Digital Design, Firmware, and Applications teams to translate hardware specs into robust software.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with PyTorch customization.
• Proven track record designing modular, maintainable software architectures.
• Experience in low-power resource-constrained embedded programming.
• Familiarity with hardware/software co-design concepts and cross-team collaboration.
• Growth mindset with a drive to master new tools and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Own the full life-cycle of SDK features (simulator, compiler, API) and related infrastructure.
• Set and uphold high standards for code quality, maintainability, testing, and release readiness.
• Conduct code reviews, improve engineering practices, and document thoroughly.
• Collaborate with Digital Design, Firmware, and Applications teams to translate hardware specs into robust software behavior.
• Provide support to internal teams and customers to enable quick app development using our SDK.
• Improve power consumption, latency, and performance bottlenecks for edge-AI solutions.
