Job summary

Innatera in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior NPU SDK Software Engineer to join our SDK team. You will own the Python API of our chip, PyTorch customization, and the compiler for end-to-end applications.

You will collaborate across Digital Design, Firmware, and Applications, translating complex hardware specifications into efficient, user-friendly software. You will help customers adopt our SDK and contribute to performance optimizations for edge AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Extensive experience with PyTorch customization and internals.
• Proven track record designing modular, maintainable software.
• Experience in low-power embedded programming.
• Familiarity with hardware/software co-design.

Responsibilities

• Own SDK features lifecycle, including simulator, compiler, API, and infrastructure.
• Set high standards for code quality, testing, and releases.
• Conduct code reviews and improve engineering practices and docs.
• Collaborate with Digital Design, Firmware, and Applications teams.
• Provide support to internal teams and customers to enable SDK usage.
• Improve power, latency, and performance bottlenecks for edge‑AI.
• Keep innovating with latest tech trends to stay competitive.
