Job summary

Amazon is seeking an ML Data Associate (MLDA) to perform foundational labeling tasks on speech, text, image and video data. You will work with a diverse team, concentrate on accuracy, and uphold strict confidentiality under Amazon’s data-security policies.

You’ll follow guidelines to meet KPIs, use in-house tools, and contribute to building practical generative AI solutions. The role rewards curiosity, meticulousness, and the ability to switch between different data modalities and tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch (CEFR C1+) with strong written English capability.
• Proven ability to produce reports, proposals, and professional correspondence.
• Excellent reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem solving.
• Able to interpret detailed instructions across projects.
• Proficient at researching information from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality as customer privacy is paramount.
• Handle diverse data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video.
• Produce high-quality labeled data meeting KPIs with in-house tools.
• Generate insights across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio.
• Make sound judgments when information is ambiguous.
• Attention to detail and quick adaptation between requirements.
• Support daily operational tasks for multiple projects.
• Identify root causes and propose improvements to labeling quality.
• Flag process or tool issues and suggest SOP changes.
• Provide floor support for internal queries during execution.
