Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Game Designer for a major live mobile title based in the Netherlands. You will shape characters, progression mechanics, events, combat systems, and features from concept through implementation.

The role combines creative game design with data-driven analysis of player behavior, game data, feedback, and outcomes. You will evolve the game economy, loops, and meta while sustaining engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated game or content design experience for live mobile or free-to-play titles.
• Strong understanding of game systems, balance, and player motivation.
• Hands-on with Unity and internal content tools.
• Analytical mindset using data and feedback to refine designs.
• Excellent communication within cross-functional and global teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with evidence-based reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of complex features and content from concept to data implementation.
• Architect gameplay systems supporting engaging player experiences.
• Analyze and refine economy, loops, and combat for balance.
• Use data and feedback to guide iterative improvements.
• Create design docs detailing purpose, mechanics, and outcomes.
• Present concepts to stakeholders with supporting evidence and insights.
• Provide peer feedback to raise team quality.
• Share knowledge on Unity tools and live optimization.
• Collaborate with production to define scope and delivery plans.
• Work with art/engineering to maintain release cadence.
• Experiment with new approaches and learn from results.
• Contribute to live operations, events, and player engagement.
