Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to shape how a global technology brand moves across product, web, social, events, and campaigns.

You will translate UI frames and briefs into polished stories, animations, and engaging product experiences while exploring AI-powered workflows to expand creative possibilities. You will collaborate with brand, product, marketing, social, web, and external partners, building motion systems and scalable templates for future launches.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in motion design with strong craft and storytelling.
• Ability to transform brand briefs, UI frames, and product concepts into visual stories.
• Deep understanding of motion principles including timing, pacing, and transitions.
• Strong brand/UI design understanding with balance between expressive direction and product communication.
• Excellent storytelling and narrative instincts for motion through setup, tension, and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality motion work across product explainers, website animations, paid social content, keynote and event experiences, campaign assets, and other brand touchpoints.
• Transform UI frames and product concepts into polished product demonstrations and feature explainers, ensuring clarity of functionality and value.
• Develop storyboards independently to move projects efficiently from concept to production.
• Define and evolve a distinctive motion design language with branded patterns and transitions.
• Build reusable motion systems, including guidelines, components, and templates for teams to work independently.
• Explore AI-powered video technologies to improve workflows and expand team capabilities.
• Produce short-form video variations for paid social testing across formats and messages.
• Develop scalable product video formats and templates for future launches.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external agencies to deliver cohesive creative work.
• Explain the strategic reasoning behind creative choices to stakeholders.
