Job summary

Voodoo in Amsterdam, a leading mobile games publisher, is seeking a Senior Game Developer to craft engaging features for casual and mid-core mobile titles. You will focus on UI, animations, and gameplay polish while driving new meta features and system improvements.

You will join one of our Live Studios, contributing to Paper.io 2 and other high-profile titles, working with a senior team to balance creativity and performance for a global audience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in C# and Unity.
• Proven track record in successful mobile game development.
• Expertise in a specialized area (e.g., animation, particle systems, shaders, architecture, performance optimization or networking).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A creative, hands-on developer with a passion for quality work.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-facing features with a focus on UI, animations and polish.
• Work on core gameplay improvements and feature development.
• Develop new meta features and enhance existing systems.
• Flesh out game design details, oversee testing and iterate based on player feedback.
• Collaborate with a senior multidisciplinary team to entertain millions of players.
