Job summary

DiscoverIT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead a greenfield mobile project building a consumer app for Android and iOS, using Kotlin Multiplatform and GraphQL APIs. You will own technical decisions and collaborate with design and product teams.

The role focuses on delivering reliable mobile solutions, contributing to architecture, CI/CD, testing, and reusable components, with hybrid on-site work 2 days per week in Zuid-Holland, starting ASAP and running through June 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Android / iOS / Mobile Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS).
• Experience developing and maintaining production mobile applications.
• Experience with API integrations and CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of CI and automated testing; ability to work independently in a greenfield environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a new mobile application for Android and iOS.
• Build reliable, scalable and well-tested mobile solutions.
• Work with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and GraphQL API integrations.
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions.
• Improve code quality, testing and CI/CD processes.
• Develop reusable components and maintainable mobile solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers and product teams.
• Take ownership of technical solutions and contribute to the overall user experience.
