Job summary

Sytac is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join a client project, building a mobile app from ground up using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) with a GraphQL API, targeting Android and iOS.

You will own the mobile app from architecture to UI, work across platforms, write maintainable code, participate in CI pipelines, and help shape engineering best practices in a fast-paced, e-commerce oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Strong Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development background.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and modern data handling.
• Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines and testing practices.

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join one of our client's project. The app is being built from the ground up using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) backed by a GraphQL API.

What you'll do

• Build an engaging, intuitive, and delightful mobile application using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Work across both Android and iOS, combining robust multiplatform shared logic with excellent native UI/UX performance.
• Integrate the application with a modern GraphQL API architecture for efficient data handling.
• Build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested applications integrated into continuous integration engineering workflows.
• Take initiative, navigate ambiguity, make sound technical decisions, and translate user needs into smooth product experiences.

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience in Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development, with a willingness to work across both platforms.
• Experience with or a strong interest in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), GraphQL, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Proven track record of building reliable, maintainable, and well-tested mobile applications.
• Proactive mindset, clear communication skills, and the ability to share knowledge and help establish engineering best practices within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong product focus with a passion for building intuitive, enjoyable customer experiences for families.
• Hands-on Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experience in a production environment.
• Prior experience within high-traffic e-commerce or retail applications.
