Job summary

Wellis Health in Rotterdam is seeking a Mobile Developer to shape the next generation of the Wellis app across iOS and Android. You will translate designs into seamless native experiences, integrate health features, and lay the foundation for a scalable, content-rich wellness platform.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in native mobile development.
• Experience shipping complex, content-rich apps beyond e-commerce.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with cloud backends and APIs (GCP preferred).
• Familiar with design tools (Figma) and translating UX/UI to native apps.
• Ability to leverage AI in development.

Responsibilities

• Own the Wellis app end-to-end from MVP to scalable product.
• Translate designs from Figma into native iOS and Android experiences.
• Build features around health, wellness, and coaching—beyond simple checkout.
• Integrate HealthKit, Google Fit, wearables for data-driven journeys.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to connect the app to a GCP-based API-first platform.
• Implement localization and multi-market capabilities for global scaling.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of health data.
• Act as sparring partner for product, UX, and mobile strategy.
