Job summary

GKN Aerospace is expanding the Manufacturing Engineering team at Fokker Landing Gear, Papendrecht, seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Product & Planning. You will support assembly, analyze production characteristics, manage L1/L2 non-conformities, and prepare dispositions to advance towards NC approval, guiding a complex, safety‑critical production environment.

The role requires leading continuous improvement, facilitating documentation, and delivering robust, process‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, aerospace preferred.
Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or related field.
Fluent in English and able to influence cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Develop technical solutions that ensure safety and comply with policies.
Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration.
Resolve vendor schedule and quality issues.
Use root cause analysis to reduce non-conformances.
Manage tooling and production planning from concept to production.
Oversee product development, first article development and configuration changes.
Deliver measurable results aligned with goals.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and teams.
Continuously improve production processes via Lean initiatives.
