Job summary

Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht seeks a Manufacturing Engineer (Product & Planning) to join an Integrated Product Team and drive smooth production deliveries for high-tech landing gear components.

You will analyze production characteristics, manage L1/L2 non-conformities, define temporary instructions, and push for NC approval while continuously improving processes through Lean and Zero Defect Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in product/process introduction and industrialization.
• 3–7 years in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or related field.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building within a global org.
• LEAN and quality systems knowledge (ISO9000/AS9100).
• Familiarity with machining and surface treatments (strict requirement).

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions while complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration.
• Resolve issues related to vendor schedules and quality.
• Utilize root cause analysis and CAPA to reduce non-conformities.
• Oversee tooling and production planning using Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM).
• Manage product development, first article development, configuration changes, and build processes.
• Deliver measurable improvements aligned with Operational & Program goals.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.
