Job summary

Seqirus is seeking an Associate Director, RWE Science to lead global real-world evidence programs across vaccine portfolios. You will shape RWE strategy within CORE, guiding study design, execution, and communications with regulatory and medical affairs teams.

Based in Amsterdam, with global collaboration, this senior role requires a track record in epidemiology, outcomes research, and leadership of large, cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related health sciences discipline.
• 8-10 years of progressive epidemiology or outcomes research experience, including at least 5 years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing prospective epidemiologic studies and retrospective analyses using large healthcare databases.
• Strong expertise in Phase IV and outcomes research methodologies.
• Experience with real-world data sources (claims data, EMR).
• Proficiency with SAS, SQL, R, and/or Stata.
• Proven scientific publication record and presentation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, execution, and oversight of complex RWE studies across vaccine programs.
• Support development and implementation of global RWE research plan and Medical Affairs strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Health Policy.
• Oversee feasibility assessments, protocol development, study reports, and evidence packages for regulatory and reimbursement activities.
• Manage CROs and scientific partners to ensure high-quality study execution.
• Contribute to health authority interactions, publications, and conferences.
