Job summary

CSL Seqirus seeks a senior scientific leader for the Associate Director, RWE Science role, driving global real-world evidence strategies to support late-stage and marketed vaccines. You will collaborate across Medical Affairs, R&D, Market Access, and Regulatory teams to generate impactful evidence informing practice and health authority engagement.

You will oversee global RWE programs, manage internal and external partners, and contribute to publications and presentations while ensuring

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or Master’s in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related field.
• 8–10 years of epidemiology/outcomes research experience, 5+ in pharma/biotech.
• Experience designing and analyzing prospective and retrospective studies using large health-care databases.
• Strong Phase IV and outcomes research methodologies.
• Experience with real-world data sources, including claims and EMR.
• Proficiency with SAS, SQL, R, and/or Stata.
• Proven publication record and presentations.
• Experience leading cross-functional global projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, execution, and oversight of complex RWE studies across vaccine programs.
• Support global RWE research plan and Seqirus Medical Affairs strategy.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and external partners.
• Oversee feasibility assessments, protocol development, study reports, and evidence packages for registration and reimbursement.
• Manage CROs and scientific partners to ensure high-quality study execution.
• Contribute to health authority interactions, publications, and conference presentations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and pharmacovigilance requirements.
• Build relationships with academic institutions and key opinion leaders.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
