Job summary

CSL Seqirus in Amsterdam is seeking an Associate Director, Real World Evidence Science to lead global RWE programs in vaccines. Reporting to the Senior Director, CORE, you will shape RWE strategy and supervise multi-functional teams across medical affairs, regulatory, and market access.

You will manage study design, data sources, and analyses, drive publications and health authority interactions, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or Master’s in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related health sciences discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive epidemiology or outcomes research experience, incl. ≥5 years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing prospective epidemiologic studies and retrospective analyses using large healthcare databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, execution, and oversight of complex real-world evidence studies across multiple vaccine programs.
• Support development and implementation of the global RWE research plan and broader Medical Affairs strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Health Policy, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee feasibility assessments, protocol development, study reports, and evidence packages for registration and reimbursement.
• Manage internal and external resources, including CROs and partners, to ensure high-quality study execution.
• Contribute to health authority interactions, publications, and conferences; disseminate evidence to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and company requirements.
• Build relationships with academic institutions and key opinion leaders; foster scientific excellence.
