Job summary

Danone seeks an experienced Clinical Data Scientist to advance non-randomized evidence generation and real-world data science. You will provide statistical oversight for observational and pragmatic studies and support the evaluation of digital health tools.

You will establish methodological standards, mentor colleagues, and guide evidence-generation decisions across research programs. A PhD or MSc in a quantitative field is required.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience designing and analysing observational studies and non-randomised evidence-generation approaches.
• Experience coaching and developing other technical experts.
• Takes initiative and demonstrates strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive methodological standards for observational research, real-world evidence generation, and digital health tool evaluation.
• Advise stakeholders on study design, bias, confounding and causal inference where feasible.
• Provide senior review of protocols, SAPs and study reports; mentor statisticians and clinical data scientists.
• Build internal/external networks to advance evidence-generation capabilities.
• Deliver statistical oversight across a portfolio of studies and digital health initiatives.
