Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a backend developer to turn functional requirements into robust software in a security-focused SaaS environment. You will design architecture, build reusable components, and own end-to-end application lifecycles within an Agile team dealing with authentication solutions for millions of users.

The role emphasizes Kotlin/Java development, CI/CD practices, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing web applications with Kotlin and/or Java 8+.
• Willingness to learn and work in Kotlin.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and unit testing.
• Knowledge or experience with Spring Boot, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, GitLab, PostgreSQL, OIDC, SAML, QA, AWS/GCP, Angular, Linux, SCRUM/Kanban.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to accept full responsibility for work and end-to-end application ownership.
• Willingness to work with Scrum/Kanban methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements and transform them into real software.
• Assist in designing and improving software architecture.
• Build and maintain a catalogue of reusable solution patterns.
• Build and maintain a library of reusable software components.
• Improve standards and guidelines for using patterns and components.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and discuss safety features with the product owner.
• Own the whole lifecycle of applications, including deployments and DevOps.
• Develop Signicat SaaS applications that enable online authentication for millions of users.
• Contribute to secure programming and mission-critical authentication solutions.
