adesso Netherlands is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and develop modern backend solutions in cloud-native architectures. You will build microservices, REST APIs, and data-driven analytics integrations across complex enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes architectural thinking, software quality, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver scalable, secure applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
• Experience with Kotlin or strong Java/JVM background and growth in Kotlin.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Think along with software architecture and technical choices.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Kotlin or Java.
• Design and build microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Develop REST APIs and integrations with internal/external systems.
• Work on cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Improve performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
