Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Java and/or Kotlin.

• Strong understanding of REST API architecture and backend development.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and user stories.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Are you an experienced Senior Backend Kotlin Engineer looking for a challenging project where you can work on scalable, business-critical applications? For one of our clients in Amsterdam, Morgan Black is looking for an experienced Kotlin Engineer to join a professional Agile/Scrum team.

In this role, you will focus on developing, improving and maintaining high-performance backend services using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot and event-driven architectures. You will work on complex systems that process large volumes of transactions, where reliability, scalability and performance are essential.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
