Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Knowledge Engineer to build the next generation of our knowledge platform. You’ll turn static documentation into structured, queryable knowledge accessible across products and AI agents, powering reliable information access for developers and customers.

Work involves designing scalable content architectures, serverless pipelines in AWS, and high-performance retrieval APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience with Python and serverless architectures (AWS).
• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j) and Cypher is essential.
• Experience building robust content-ingestion or ETL pipelines to transform unstructured content into graphs.
• Strong API design skills for complex retrieval and knowledge access.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver the next generation of Adyen’s Knowledge platform for intelligent content delivery via AI interfaces.
• Design serverless pipelines in AWS to ingest content from headless CMS and Git repositories.
• Define graph schemas and ontologies; write optimized queries for graph databases.
• Collaborate with writers, product managers, and cloud teams to ensure secure deployments.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to code quality and engineering excellence.
