Job summary

Adyen is building the next generation of its Knowledge platform to turn static documentation into structured, queryable knowledge. You will implement scalable, serverless data pipelines in AWS and design graph schemas to enable intelligent knowledge delivery for developers and AI agents.

Ideal candidates have deep Python experience and strong background in graph databases, ETL pipelines, and API design, with IaC (Pulumi) and Kubernetes exposure. Amsterdam-office, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Deep production experience with Python.
• Experience designing serverless orchestrations using AWS Step Functions and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j) and Cypher.
• Experience building robust content-ingestion/ETL pipelines for unstructured content.
• Experience designing performant APIs for complex retrieval (GraphRAG or vector embedding a plus).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi) and Kubernetes (EKS).

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver the next generation of Adyen’s Knowledge platform.
• Design, configure and orchestrate serverless pipelines in AWS.
• Define graph schemas and write optimized queries for the graph database.
• Collaborate with writers, product managers and engineers, plus cloud teams.
• Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews and mentoring.
