Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Documentation Experience Team in Amsterdam. You will shape the next generation of our knowledge platform and deliver scalable content systems that power developer experiences across products.

You will collaborate with engineering, technical writing, product design, and management to define architecture, build robust ingestion pipelines, and deliver high‑quality APIs. Experience with semantic content models and data pipelines is key.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in semantic and content modelling for web publication across distributed sources (headless CMS, repos).
Experience building robust content ingestion pipelines to transform unstructured and structured sources into knowledge graphs.
Design and maintain high-performance APIs for data retrieval (REST/GraphQL).
Familiarity with search indexing to maximise relevance for complex queries.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes).
Strong drive for automation and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver the next generation of Adyen’s documentation platform.
Collaborate with engineering, writing, design, and product management teams to ship features.
Co-lead the Documentation Experience strategy with leadership on direction and execution.
Define technological direction and drive adoption of new tech.
Build cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.
