Job summary

Ampstek is hiring 3 experienced Java Developers for a long-term contract in Amsterdam. You will design and build enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot, while developing microservices and REST APIs in a cloud-native, event-driven environment.

Work closely with architects, product owners, QA and business stakeholders, and manage CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps. Applicants should have 6+ years IT experience with 5+ years Java, and be able to work in a hybrid Amsterdam setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Azure, Kafka and building REST APIs.
• Proven ability to design, develop and maintain cloud-native, event-driven architectures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in an on-site client environment (hybrid in Amsterdam).
• EU/EEA citizenship or valid Dutch residence permit that allows work without sponsorship.
• Background verification will be completed before onboarding.

Responsibilities
