Job summary

Ampstek is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a hybrid contract role in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will design, develop and deploy Java/J2EE applications using Spring, Spring Boot, REST and microservices, collaborating with frontend teams using React JS or Angular.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience, strong debugging, Azure deployment, OAuth/JWT security, and agile practices. You will lead technical discussions, ensure deliverables within SLA, and contribute to architectural

Qualifications

At least 6-8 years of experience with Java (version 8 or later).
Proficient in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, and microservices.
Strong front-end integration using React JS or Angular.
Experience with version control tools: GIT, Azure Repos, Bitbucket.
Experience deploying applications in Azure.
Familiar with Agile methodologies.
Strong consulting and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team and deliver within SLA.
Experience with OAuth/JWT authentication in Java applications.
Experience with JMS/Kafka/RabbitMQ messaging systems.
Participate in design meetings and decisions.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy Java/J2EE applications using Spring, Spring Boot, REST, and microservices.
Coordinate frontend integration with React JS or Angular and RESTful services.
Configure OAuth/JWT authentication in existing Java-based applications.
Contribute to design discussions and architectural decisions.
Work in Azure-based environments and maintain CI/CD processes.
