Job summary

Ampstek in Amsterdam is seeking a seasoned Java- Springboot Developer to join a hybrid team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-native patterns.

The ideal candidate will implement secure, high-performance solutions, develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures in a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Azure, API Development and Kafka-based event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain Microservices and REST APIs.
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and automation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently in an onsite client environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
