Job summary

ING is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Information Modeler within the GCDM Center of Expertise Customer Data Design to shape ING's customer data landscape. You will analyse complex business domains and translate concepts into coherent information models that fit the OnePAM enterprise model.

You will collaborate with business experts, architects and delivery teams across countries to govern customer data designs, lead workshops, and define standards and reference data while driving clarity

Qualifications

• Master's degree in analytical/technical information management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in business information analysis, data modelling or information modelling.
• Hands-on experience with conceptual and/or logical data modelling in complex business domains.
• Ability to translate business requirements into entities, relationships, attributes and business rules.
• Experience with enterprise-wide information or data models and governance processes.
• Understanding of metadata management, taxonomies, reference data and governance.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex business requirements to identify concepts, entities, relationships and rules.
• Create and evolve conceptual and logical data models for customer data.
• Translate business terms into precise model definitions.
• Define business definitions, taxonomies and reference data.
• Assess model changes for consistency and impact.

• Facilitate modelling workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Explain models and design choices to business and technical audiences.
• Contribute to modelling standards, documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Work across multiple countries with architects and engineers.
