Job summary

ING is seeking a Senior Engineer – Automation, Platform & Messaging within Global Workplace Services in Amsterdam. You will be the technical authority for Microsoft 365, AI and automation capabilities across ING, designing, operating and improving the platform and related systems to support secure, scalable employee experience.

• Extensive experience designing, operating or improving enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 workplace services in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, operate and continuously improve Microsoft 365 tenant and platform capabilities.
• Translate business, security, risk and compliance requirements into scalable configurations, engineering standards and platform guardrails.
• Develop and maintain configuration standards, access models, operational procedures and lifecycle processes for Microsoft 365 services.
• Monitor Microsoft service health, product changes and platform dependencies, and assess their potential impact on ING.
• Contribute to technical designs, architecture reviews, platform roadmaps and engineering decisions.
• Use automation and configuration control to improve the consistency, traceability and maintainability of Microsoft 365 services.
