Job summary

You will shape the Health, Safety & Environmental strategy, partnering with senior leaders, engineers, and contractors to elevate safety performance in a complex, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Extensive experience leading HSE programs in high-risk facilities.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change.
• Experience managing contractor safety across multi-contractor environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive safety culture across the site and engage all levels.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and projects to assess and mitigate risk.
• Develop and improve HSE programs, standards, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, environmental requirements, and client standards.
• Oversee contractor safety performance across multi-contractor environment.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE performance via audits, inspections, and reporting.
• Advise senior stakeholders on safety and business objectives.
• Support emergency preparedness and business continuity.
• Champion safety as a core element of operational excellence.
