Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Amsterdam is seeking a QHSE Manager for Data Centre Solutions Europe to develop and deliver the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategy.

You will work with the Divisional QHSE Director to implement policy and processes. The role covers auditing, reporting, training development, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to uphold safety standards and compliance across the Data Centre Solutions division.

Qualifications

• Formal management qualification in Health and Safety and Environmental management.
• Auditing experience and IOSH membership at graduate level.
• Strategic managerial experience in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management.
• Experience liaising with enforcement agencies/insurers.
• Experience in risk management and policy development.
• Proven event investigation and training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Report accidents, incidents, near misses and corrective actions promptly.
• Act as QHSE focal point for DCS division and understand requirements.
• Implement and review the Strategic QHSE Plan.
• Oversee QHSE initiatives and best practices.
• Provide guidance on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
• Ensure compliance via QHSE system audits.
• Develop and maintain training strategy and delivery.
• Coordinate with contract Safety Champions and external QHSE resources.
• Meet SLAs and monitor performance metrics.
• Support communication and management on QHSE matters.
• Assist with new business QHSE aspects.
• Review policies, risk assessments, safe systems of work.
• Highlight hazards to Divisional QHSE Director.
• Appraise compliance with legal and corporate standards.
• Update compliance dashboard weekly.
