Job summary

G2 is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead the health, safety and environmental function for an owner/operator in the energy sector near Moerdijk, Netherlands. You will build HSE systems, create standards and procedures, and guide the organisation on compliance and improvement initiatives.

You will own the HSE strategy, roll out training, conduct site audits, and liaise with Dutch authorities while supporting both project delivery and operations.

Qualifications

• MVK/HVK/PA1/PA2 or NEBOSH qualification required.
• Strong understanding of Dutch HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience engaging with Dutch authorities and external stakeholders.
• Experience in energy, industrial, process or manufacturing environments.
• Owner/operator experience preferred or consultancy background acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Build HSE documentation, standards, procedures, and management systems from the ground up.
• Develop and deliver the company's HSE strategy.
• Roll out HSE training and awareness programmes across the business.
• Conduct site audits and provide operational HSE support.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch HSE legislation and requirements.
• Liaise with Dutch authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Support operations and production teams on HSE matters.
• Drive continuous improvement across health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Report directly to the Director of Operations.
