As a Senior Group Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and consolidation in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing key financial insights and analysis.

In this role you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Reporting & Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Consolidation: Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
• Assist in preparing updates to the Reporting and Accounting manual and provide support to the local teams (countries) with the implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances specifically for enhancing assurance for financial reporting.
• Systems and Process Improvement: Support the implementation and enhancement of financial reporting & consolidation systems. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies, regarding financial reporting matters.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., RA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred;
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial controlling, reporting or auditing;
• Proficient in mastering evolving financial regulatory standards, with a proactive approach to adapting and applying these frameworks in financial reporting, including consolidation;
• Excellent communication skills in English. A good understanding of Dutch, German or French is a plus;
• Proficient in financial reporting software, Experience with Onestream is a plus.
• You're a team player, willing to learn and grow.
• Based in the Netherlands and authorized to work here without requiring visa sponsorship.
