Job summary

Mimica is a fully remote company building AI-powered process intelligence. You will join the Mapper Team to produce and service the Process Maps at the core of Mimica's product, taking ownership of end-to-end projects and driving architectural decisions for exponential growth in usage.

You will work in a small, cross-functional force, shaping engineering direction, processes and culture, while delivering data-visualisation features, real-time interfaces, and scalable frontend systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and high engineering standards.
• Strong experience with React, state management and frontend architecture.
• Knowledge of advanced system design, data structures, algorithms, and data-intensive applications.
• Deep understanding of advanced performance optimisation techniques.
• Previous experience working in the backend.
• Committed to clean, testable, reusable, modular, and well-documented code.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end from speccing to observability.
• Fluency in English with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Developing data-visualisation applications and features for large data properties with scalability and reliability.
• Building interfaces and real-time frontend services for multi-user graph editing and AI model retraining.
• Owning projects end-to-end within small teams, collaborating with TLs and Product Managers.
• Participating in architectural decisions and documenting implementations.
• Improve Team and Chapter processes and rituals for effectiveness.
• Providing feedback via RFCs and code reviews and helping peers level up.
• Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members.
