Job summary

ING Netherlands is seeking a senior finance business partner to lead the Finance Business Advice (FBA) team supporting the Wholesale Banking segment. You will guide 3 FTEs, shape financial planning and reporting, and partner with Executive Committee members to translate strategic initiatives into financial action.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and executive education in relevant fields.
• 7-15 years of experience in a financial advice position in a European financial institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of banking (including products & balance sheet dynamics).
• Experience translating complex data into sound, clear advice.
• Ability to act as true independent business partner.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team: from strategy to implementation, managing the goals and challenges of the team members; setting the objectives of the team.
• Managing the team of 3 FTEs who are individually product experts.
• Actively contribute to improving processes and reporting and developing finance talents in the team.
• Building relationships with stakeholders, identifying priorities and strategic challenges and preparing them for discussion.
• Providing valuable (financial) insights & reliable reports.
• Reporting, understanding and controlling drivers generating value and supporting the financial targets.
• Providing high-quality and accurate financial advice.
