Ad Idem Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner for a Netherlands HQ role. You will provide finance support across Commercial Finance, FP&A and Supply Services for distributor markets, delivering integrated reporting and planning.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and at least five years’ finance experience with a strong commercial finance mindset. Hybrid model with three days in the office.

Our client, a private equity-backed consumer goods business is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their Netherlands HQ. In this role you will provide finance support across Commercial Finance, FP&A and Supply Services for the business’s distributor markets, bringing commercial performance, planning, reporting and supply finance together into one joined-up view of market performance.

Your responsibilities will cover driving the regional reporting process for P&L and NWC KPIs, leading target setting, planning and forecasting, and taking end-to-end accountability for commercial fixed costs across the region. You will business partner the commercial teams, owning all dimensions of the P&L, approving and evaluating sales promotions, reviewing trade spend accruals and leading margin improvement projects. You will also monitor and forecast supply costs, identify efficiency opportunities within Supply Services, and work closely with Commercial, FP&A, Supply, Accounting and regional management teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field and have a minimum of five years’ finance experience, with a strong commercial finance mindset and a background in management reporting, planning and forecasting. Distributor market experience is preferred, as is experience within a complex matrix organisation with a global scope. A professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or CMA), completed or in progress, is a plus, and advanced Excel and strong stakeholder communication skills are essential.

The position is offered on a permanent basis with a flexible hybrid model, requiring three days per week in the office.

Offering a base salary between €65-80K, a 10% bonus with a 1.5x multiplier, and other incentives.
